New opportunities in the alliance: Call for participation for Artist as Teacher programme 2025/26 is open

Teachers in higher music education across the IN.TUNE Alliance are invited to apply for the Artist as Teacher course, a professional development programme designed to enhance pedagogical skills and inspire reflective teaching. The course is open to educators at all career stages and combines live sessions at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with online learning.

Organised by the IN.TUNE Alliance within the activities of professional development, capacity building, and innovation and teaching & learning, Artist as Teacher brings together colleagues from eight European institutions to explore teaching strategies, sustainable careers, feedback and assessment, and foundations of learning. The programme encourages peer exchange through intervision, mutual lesson visits, and written reflection. Sessions will be led by Professors Gerda van Zelm and Renee Jonker, along with guest speakers from partner institutions.

Participation is limited to three teachers per institution.

Applications must be submitted by 30 June 2025.
Questions and inquiries should be directed to Institutional Alliance Managers.
