The IN.TUNE Alliance Management Team and Administrative Committee's inaugural in-person meeting on March 13 and 14, 2024, at the National University of Music Bucharest (UNMB), served as a valuable gathering for fostering collaboration and dialogue. This event welcomed delegates from Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH), Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), University of the Arts Helsinki - Sibelius Academy (Uniarts Helsinki), Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), University of the Arts The Hague - The Royal Conservatoire The Hague (HdK), and University of Arts in Belgrade - Faculty of Music (UAB).
The meeting commenced with a welcoming address by the UNMB Rector, Prof. Diana Mo?, fostering a warm atmosphere and setting the stage for fruitful collaboration.
The two-day meeting featured in-depth discussions on financial principles, governance structure, and consortium agreement, where attendees openly shared their insights, queries, and expectations. This transparent communication channel enabled fruitful debates on aligning financial and administrative practices with the alliance's overarching goals. Topics such as optimizing travel costs, ensuring transparent financial reporting, and crafting an inclusive governance structure were thoroughly examined, reflecting the collective commitment to the project's success.
Key observations from the meeting included the recognition of the alliance's broad and transformative potential and the importance of a step-by-step approach to implementation, allowing for flexibility and adaptation to each institution's pace and methods. There was an expressed desire for the creation of a shared platform to facilitate access to program and teacher information across institutions, enhancing collaboration and understanding.
Common concerns were shared among the members, such as the need for a unified administrative and financial framework and strategies to overcome the diverse legal and procedural landscapes across institutions.

Amidst the historic backdrop of UNMB, the meeting not only navigated the immediate agenda but also cultivated a strengthened partnership network, energizing the IN.TUNE alliance for future initiatives and setting a strong foundation for its continued success.
