IN.TUNE Alliance: First Six Months Highlights

In the first six months since its launch on January 1, 2024, the IN.TUNE Alliance has made exciting progress. With a central management team and dedicated Institutional Alliance Managers, we've been collaborating smoothly through our MS Teams platform, which now connects over 170 members. Our Work Package Committees are up and running, holding regular meetings that foster a spirit of teamwork. We've also been participating in international forums, making our mark in the European higher education scene. The Student Council has been very active, with several meetings already held and more to come.

IN.TUNE University Alliance to start on January 1st 2024

The European University Alliance IN.TUNE will start on January 1st 2024. Selected as one of the seven new alliances under the 2023 Erasmus+ European Universities call, the IN.TUNE will join 51 existing alliances in the frame of the European Universities initiative as the only one in the field of music and arts.

First Meetings of Governing Board, Executive Committee, and Student Council in Oslo

We are excited to announce that the first meetings of the Governing Board, Executive Committee, and Student Council will take place on June 17-18, 2024, at The Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) in Oslo. Additionally, the Alliance Management Team will also gather during this time. These meetings mark a significant milestone for our alliance, bringing together participants to discuss and shape the future direction of our collaborative efforts.

First Live WP6 Committee Meeting in Vienna: 4-5 June, 2024

The recent Work Package on Societal Engagement (WP6) Committee meeting at the mdw – University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna marked the first live session for the team. The meeting was a productive and insightful event for alliance members. The session began with a warm welcome and opening remarks, setting a positive tone for discussions. The initial focus was on the WP6 Matrix, which outlines activities across all involved universities in lifelong learning, employability, professional integration, and sustainable careers. This event welcomed delegates from Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH), Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP), University of the Arts Helsinki – Sibelius Academy (Uniarts Helsinki), Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw), University of the Arts The Hague – The Royal Conservatoire The Hague (HdK), and University of Arts in Belgrade – Faculty of Music (UAB).
